Where Your Region Comes In
You can tell us your region using the small control in the header and footer. Region affects only one thing: where a buy link leads, for example, sending you to your local Amazon storefront. It never changes which items you see, what earns approval, or the words on any page. We read only a general region from your connection; we never store your IP address, and we never use a third-party tracking service to locate you.
Courtesy Links
Some links are simply courtesies, a direct path to a maker we admire, carrying no commission at all. We include them for the same reason we include everything else: because we think they may genuinely help.
Approval Is Never for Sale
